Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are

WatchPulse ("we", "us", "our") is a Telegram-based monitoring service. By using our bot or website, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

  • Telegram account data — your Telegram user ID and username, as provided by Telegram when you start the bot.
  • Monitor configuration — URLs, cron expressions, ticker symbols, keywords, and intervals you provide when creating monitors.
  • Check results — response times, HTTP status codes, and incident records generated by automated checks.
  • Payment data — cryptocurrency wallet addresses and transaction references used to process plan upgrades via NOWPayments. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment credentials.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To run scheduled checks on the URLs and targets you configure.
  • To send alert and recovery notifications to your Telegram account.
  • To enforce plan limits (monitor count, check intervals).
  • To process and verify payments for paid plans.
  • To send plan expiry reminders via Telegram.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data is stored in a database hosted on a private server. We use industry-standard practices including encrypted connections (TLS) and restricted database access. No sensitive secrets are stored in plain text.

Monitor targets (URLs, keywords) may be visible in server logs for debugging purposes. Logs are rotated and not retained indefinitely.

5. Third-Party Services

  • Telegram — Messages and alerts are delivered via the Telegram Bot API. Telegram's own Privacy Policy applies to all in-app interactions.
  • TheyPaid — Crypto payment processing. Their privacy policy applies to payment transactions.
  • CoinGecko — Used to fetch public cryptocurrency price data. No personal data is sent to CoinGecko.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete all your monitors and stop using the bot, your account record and associated data may be retained for up to 12 months before being purged. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data.

8. Children's Privacy

WatchPulse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
